Seoul
Introduction of Seoul
Seoul is the capital of Korea with over 600 years of history. It is the heart of Korea’s culture and education as well as politics and economics. Seoul is home to many old historic sites like Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palaces, and places of traditional culture like Bukchon Hanok Village, Insa-dong, and Namdaemun Market. The shopping and entertainment districts of Myeongdong and Apgujeong, and Asia's largest underground shopping center COEX Mall also draw a large number of tourists every year. The Hangang River, which runs through the center of the city, is also a distinctive landscape of Seoul that offers a myriad of resting areas for citizens.

Bukchon Hanok Village
Located in 31 Beon-ji (Gahoe-dong, Bukchon), Sanggojae is a “fusion hanok,” a traditional Korean house with modern touches. Built by Gae-in’s father, Professor Park Cheol-han (played by Gang Sin-il), the house’s name means “a place for mutual love” and reflects Professor Park’s love for his family. Since her mother died before construction was completed, Gae-in lives alone in Sanggojae, unbeknownst to anyone else. In order to gain more information for the Dam Art Center design project, Jin-ho pretends to be gay in order to stay at Sanggojae. The gate of Sanggojae and surrounding roads were filmed in Bukchon Hanok Village, while the inside of Sanggojae was filmed in a set located in Yangju MBC Culture Valley.

Jeju Gimnyeong Maze Park (Bad Love)
After In-jeong and Soo-hwan pass each other in the elevator, they meet again at Jeju Gimnyeong Maze Park, which is a famous spot on Jeju Island. Soo-hwan, who is disappointed because he didn’t get a promotion, and In-jeong, who took a trip alone to Jeju, coincidentally met at the Maze Park while trying to find their way out of the maze. The park is the only foliage maze park in Asia, and is designed based on seven symbols that represent the history and topography of Jeju Island. There are a total of four paths from the entrance to the exit. You can get out of the maze in as early as five minutes if you are good with maps or you can be stuck in the maze as long as an hour. The maze is completely cut off from its surroundings, which is why many young lovers enjoy coming here.

* Chae-gyungs Teddy Bear? Teddy Bear Museum * (Princess Hours)
During their trip to Jeju Island, Chae-gyeong and the empress visit the Teddy Bear Museum. This is the world's largest museum that is wholly dedicated to teddy bears. The museum has on exhibit a wide collection of teddy bears from all over the world and is a great place to take pictures. As Chae-gyeong thinks about Lee Shin back in Seoul, she is shocked when he suddenly appears. Her expression brightens and she looks just like a teddy bear. If you remember this scene, you may want to visit the museum. Here, you will find the teddy bear that Chae-gyeong pretended was Lee Shin.

Jeju Island (My Girl)
Filmed in early episodes, Jeju Island is the birthplace of Yu-rin and the location of Gong-chan's hotel. Most scenes in episodes 1 and 2 were filmed in Jungmun, the largest tourist complex on the island. While scenes were filmed all over the island, some major locations were Seongsan Ilchulbong, Cheonjeyeon Falls, Cheonjiyeon Falls, and Seopjikoji. Among the scenes filmed here, were Jeong-woo and Yu-rin being chased by a mob and the one in which Yu-rin steals mandarin oranges from an orchard to sell on the roadside.
At the Lotte Hotel Jeju (one of the hotels owned by Gong-chan), a man chases Jeong-woo after finding him in a room with his blonde girlfriend. In one scene, the blonde shoots at Jeong-woo, and the gunpowder accidentally hit his bare foot, resulting in an NG.
Set amidst fantastic scenery, the Jeju Medical Center is where Yu-rin was filmed running from the mob. In a particularly hilarious scene, she escapes from the hospital clinging to the back of an ambulance. Finally, at Jeju International Airport, Gong-chan is approached by Yu-rin who is putting up an act as his ex-girlfriend.

63 City Observatory
Newly remodeled in 2006, the 63 City Observatory is a major tourist attraction in Seoul that offers a panoramic view of the city. The view of the Hangang River from the observatory and the elevator leading up to the observatory are particularly popular. As a child, Yu-rin had always wanted to come to the 63 City Observatory. Finally, she is able to visit with Gong-chan.
The observatory is one of the few sites offering a beautiful night view of Seoul. It is especially recommended for couples looking for a romantic evening. In the elevator, Yu-rin talks about holding her breath and making a wish.
